Course Details

The course will cover all aspects of studio pottery.

Basic techniques, coiling, slab building, throwing on the wheel, press moulding, glazing and decorating techniques.

Practical 'Hands on' approach. Demonstrations followed with technical support.

Additional course costs.
Students are expected to purchase all completed work to cover the cost of glazing and materials. A contribution may be asked for uncompleted work. Basic tools are provided but students may wish to collect their own specialist tools.

Courses are run continually, and you will be able to join these to further develop your skills.

 

 

Course Cost

Course costs are as follows:

10 weeks: £95

Students are expected to purchase all completed work at approx £3 per kg, to cover the cost of glazing and materials. A contribution may be asked for uncompleted work.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
