If you use substances hazardous to health at work, then this could be the course for you.
You will learn about the hazards associated with these substances, the risks and controls available and what to expect from a COSHH assessment.
Please note – this qualification is not intended to train you to carry out COSHH assessments nor to provide detailed training on working with hazardous substances.
By the end of this programme you will be able to:
- Identify and define types of substances hazardous to health in the workplace.
- List the possible health effects of hazardous substances and their causes.
- Describe how COSHH assessments are undertaken and appropriate selection of control options.
- Describe the responsibilities imposed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations.
You will be taught in the classroom by an accredited, qualified and experienced tutor.
