Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment, to your thoughts and feelings, to the sounds and sights around you. By being more aware, you learn to understand yourself and your reactions. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by life and just automatically reacting to thoughts and emotions, you begin to observe them and to give yourself the opportunity to respond in a more helpful and constructive way.
On this course we will learn and practice simple techniques which invite us to live in the here and now, manage our stress and feel calmer and more fulfilled.
