Reuse, Recycle, Re-invent
Course Details
If you have been inspired by sewing programmes on TV, or you find that shopping for unique clothes and/or soft furnishings is almost impossible, then this may well be the ideal course for you. Importantly, no previous experience is required – just enthusiasm. You will explore your chosen project with our experienced dressmaking/bagmaking Tutor. Simply bring along any old clothes, bedding, curtains or other materials, and then turn them into something new. It could be a new outfit for you or a child, a new bag to carry shopping and/or personal effects, or a new set of cushions. The possibilities are virtually endless. In fact, the only limit is your imagination, which your Tutor and fellow learners will be on-hand to stimulate. You can even bring a garment you wish to alter, repair or re-purpose.
Information & Support
If you are new to this class, you will need to bring your sewing machine, a sewing kit, a notepad & pen, a tape measure and, of course, your materials.
