Course Details

Using acrylic paints you will explore the following:- building up textures using layering, using bold brushstrokes to sculpt landscape features in painting, mix colours before painting and during the painting process and the use of collage techniques to enhance texture.                                                                 

You will be taught through practical demonstration and hands on experience. 
 

Information & Support

Learners can progress on to further workshops planned throughout the year or on to a 10 week Drawing and Painting course. 

Please bring along:
Any acrylic paints and brushes that you have.  If you do not have any, please bring along the following:- pencil, acylic paint set (or any acrylic tubes you have), square and round brushes - soft and bristle - various sizes, 140 lb Bockingford paper or acrylic painting boards/canvas.  The tutor will bring suitable resources for painting or you can bring your own along.                                                                                                         

Please bring a packed lunch.
