Sewing Workshop – Free Motion Machine Embroidery

Course Details

Learn how to create a simple quilted picture using scraps/offcuts of material and how to embroider ‘free-style’ under the guidance of our experienced patchwork & quilting tutor. 

Information & Support

You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands-on experience. 

Please bring the following: 

  • Sewing Machine – large sewing machine needle size 80 or 90 (as you will be sewing through several layers) 

  • Walking foot for sewing machine (optional) 

  • Basic sewing equipment – pins, scissors, tape measure.

Workshops and courses will be offered throughout the year giving learners the opportunity to further develop their skills.

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
