Course introduction

To provide a specialist work-related qualification in the construction environment.  You will work through a portfolio of units underpinning your working knowledge.


Minimum entry requirements

Literacy and Numeracy at appropriate level for Apprentices in the trade.

Appropriate GCSEs (normally at least four passes at grade D or above, to include Science, Mathematics and a subject testing the use of English), however this will depend on previous experience so please call for an informal chat.


How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be carried out by the Assessor in the workplace.

Information & support

You will learn in the workplace and you will be assigned an assessor who will come and see you on a regular basis.
