Our beginner's level Spanish class introduces students to the basics of everyday Spanish. Topics include: Meeting and greeting Alphabet and pronunciation Numbers and giving your phone number Saying what you do for a living Saying where you’re from Talking about your family and introducing others Ordering drinks and tapas in a bar Paying the bill
The course is aimed at absolute beginners in Spanish who want to acquire a basic knowledge of the language in order to communicate in practical situations. Students will learn and practice fundamental language skills, helping them develop basic communication and gain a secure understanding of the essentials of life in Spain.
The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing Spanish will be practiced in an engaging and supportive way with a range of tasks and activities set during the lesson as well as regular homework involving preparation, grammar or written exercises. There is no formal testing but work and progress will be monitored by your tutor.
