Course Details

This course is held at the Greyfriars Community Centre in Ringwood.

Our improving beginner’s Spanish class picks up where our beginner’s course left off and continues to introduce students to the basics of everyday Spanish.

  • Asking what there is in town.
  • Telling the time and finding out opening times.
  • Saying where you live and work.
  • Asking for items in a shop and buying food.

The course is aimed at beginners in Spanish who want to improve on basic knowledge of the language in order to communicate in practical situations. Students will learn and practice fundamental language skills, helping them develop basic communication and gain a secure understanding of the essentials of life in Spain.

The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing Spanish will be practiced in an engaging and supportive way with a range of tasks and activities set during the lesson as well as regular homework involving preparation, grammar or written exercises.
