Course Details

This course is for those who wish to make beautiful items out of stained (coloured) glass.

By the end of the course learners will have covered all aspects of preparing and cutting coloured sheet glass, preparing the cut pieces, assembling and soldering everything together.

You will be taught by verbal instruction and practical demonstrations.

There will be an additional charge of £25 for the starter pack which includes all the equipment and glass needed to complete your first project.  This charge is paid directly to the Tutor at the first session.  There will be other equipment for you to sue during class times (soldering irons and grinders) etc.  Materials for future projects will be available to purchase on request.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

For some courses, this may be possible.  Please contact leisurecourses@brock.ac.uk to confirm.

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
