Course Details

This workshop is based on mindfulness techniques and CBT to help you change your outlook on stressful events so that you can leave the course with hope and knowledge that things can improve. 

There are so many things that can be done to help – just come along and find out.

Look at simple techniques to avoid, manage and reduce stress. 

The course will be taught as a group workshop with demonstrations and problem solving.

Please bring a notebook and pen, a list of questions for the question and answer session and a smile.

Can I start the course part way through?

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Please contact leisurecourses@brock.ac.uk for further clarification or to take a quick assessment to find out the most suitable level for you.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
