Course Details

This is a class for all abilities, commencing with a half-hour ballet warm-up to enhance posture and core strength (no jumping). In the second half-hour, you will explore Cha-cha-cha, Salsa, Samba, Charleston, Lindy Hop and the Blues, as well as other dance styles, including a variety of ethnic and creative, contemporary moves. This class is all about the joy of dance, feeling good and having fun.

Information & Support

Clothing should be comfortable and enable ease of movement. Please wear layers to allow for warmth and coolness as required. Ballet shoes are best, or bare feet (if the floor is suitable). Slipper socks/soft flat shoes are also acceptable. Please seek the advice of your medical physician if you are receiving or have had any recent treatments, or if you are in doubt about any condition you may have that could affect your participation.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
