Course Details

A course designed to provide an introduction to the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi Chuan.  With regular practice, Tai Chi provides a means with which to strengthen mind and body, and thereby combat stress and illness and improve fitness.

Consolidation and revision of the yang short form with emphasis on:
Quality of stance and movement
Fluidity and control breathing
Extension of knowledge
Applications/History
Stick sequence

It will be taught by demonstration, assessment, explanation, encouragement and correction.

Information & Support

Suitable for those who may have completed or almost completed yang short form.

Wear loose comfortable clothing, plus flat supportive footwear

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
