Course Details

Extend your range of creative techniques with our Watercolour Improvers class and experiment with a range of water based materials.

Build on experience gained from the beginners course.  Extend your range of creative techniques through personal projects with chosen themes.  Experiment with other water based materials.

A structured week by week course.
Tutor demonstration of techniques.
Group and individual feedback on work produced.

Information & Support

Students should have completed the beginners course or have at least 1 year's experience in watercolour.

What do I need to bring to the course?
  
Watercolour paper of various sizes.
Watercolour paints, either in pans or tubes
Watercolour brushes
Ink pens
Ceramic or plastic palette
Watercolour pencils, inks, gouache
Advice can be given on the purchase of materials.

Courses are run continually, and you will be able to join these to further develop your skills.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
