Course introduction

This is a course for anyone who wishes to use Dreamweaver to create a website

By the end of the course, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify and use appropriate software correctly
  • Import, format and place text and image files
  • Insert relative, external and e-mail hyperlinks
  • Manage web pages

The teaching is tutor led in well equipped rooms with explanations, demonstrations, lectures, question and answer and discussion. Each learner has the use of a computer.

Minimum entry requirements

Learners must have knowledge of managing files with Windows Explorer before joining this course.

How will I be assessed?

The work will be assessed by the tutor on a regular basis from which feedback will be given to help improve skills. The final assessment will take the form of a practical assignment which is marked by the tutor and externally moderated by the examination board, OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA)
