Writing – developing your story

Course Details

A ten-week course aimed at developing a new or existing story idea. Do you have a story that you’re looking to write or even a story that you’re just trying to polish for print? During this ten-week period, we will workshop your stories through a range of practical editing exercises. There will also be the opportunity to develop a new short story during this time.

This course is recommended for writers with a strong grasp of characters, plot etc.

Information & Support

Please bring along pen and paper and/or a fully charged laptop.

There will be a maximum of 10 students on the course.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
