The perfect way to finish off the day, gently flexing, stretching, unwinding and de-stressing. A mix of controlled breathing, sun salutations, standing and seated postures used for thousands of years to make the body more flexible and toned.
Yoga helps improve your balance, strengthens your core, muscle tone and keeps you feeling fit and healthy. Excellent for banishing backaches and pains.
This course is taught mainly through demonstration, explanation and practice.
Information & Support
This course is suitable for all abilities and ages. If you have any medical/physical problems which may impede your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor prior to commencing the course. If you are concerned about your ability to exercise or any medical conditions, please discuss with the tutor. (As with all exercise classes, students are required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire).
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
Practical help and advice is also provided to assist students with any kind of disability or individual need, including people for whom English is not their first language. Please contact our centre staff to discuss your needs prior to starting your course.
