Yoga – Beginners (a 3 term programme)

Course Details

This course will cover a basic introduction to all yoga concepts through posture work, breathing techniques, relaxation, meditation and some philosophy. This course is for those with little or no experience of yoga.

The course is for both males/females.

You will need to bring a mat or blanket to lie on, wear loose comfortable clothes. You may also like to bring a bottle of water.

  

  

 

Information & Support

If you have any medical/physical problems which may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor prior to commencing the course.  Please do not have a large meal immediately before the class.

If you are concerned about your ability to exercise or any medical conditions, please discuss with the tutor. (As with all exercise classes, students are required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire).

Course fees & Duration

12 weeks = £63 (Autumn and Spring term)

11 weeks = £58 (Summer term)

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
