Yoga – For Healthy Lower Backs

Course Details

This is a gentle, specially modified yoga course to help you manage your lower back pain.

Initially teaching covers simple pain-relieving positions and strategies; progressing gradually with strengthening and stretching poses and movements.

Everything is designed to improve flexibility, mobility and posture and includes breathing, mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

The course is based on Arthritis Research UK/University of York Clinical Trials specifically designed to teach you to help yourself to improved lower back comfort, health and well-being.

 

Information & Support

You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands on experience.

The class is taught in small group classes.

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
