Colleges Week Video Competition
Terms and Conditions
- The competition will run from 18 October 3pm to 12pm on 29 October. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- The competition is open to all current students at Brockenhurst College.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The competition will take place on Brockenhurst College’s Instagram account.
- Judging for the competition will take place on 29 October.
- The winner of the competition will be announced on 1 November on Brockenhurst College’s Instagram account.
- The winner will be notified by Direct Message on Instagram. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The winner will receive £10 to go on their student lanyard. The College will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
- The £10 credit cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be spent on areas of the College such as the Hard Brock Café and the LRC.
- The prize will be issued at the college’s earliest convenience. The winner will be notified.
- In the instance that there are a series of images/videos the judges feel are all well-deserving, a name will be picked at random.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as his/her entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- To enter the competition, you must upload your video or reel to Instagram, tag @brockcollege, use the hashtag #ThinkBrock and follow our Instagram account by Friday 29 October.
- Images using any provocative or offensive language or imagery will be withdrawn from the competition.
- Images must not contain any antisocial behaviour such as smoking, vaping, drug or alcohol use.
- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
- The College’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The College reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
