The new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations were launched on the 2nd July 2018. Importantly, as of 2019 all electrical installation designs must comply with BS 7671:2018, 18th Edition (2018).

To respond to the needs of all those working in the sector, and the limited timeframe, we are offering two bespoke online teaching and learning packages through City & Guilds.

Once you have completed the course you will book your exam with us at our Marchwood Skills Centre.

Upon completion of the 18th Edition 35 hour full course, you will be able to then book your 2 hour exam with Marchwood to suit your needs

Course structure


This course will include, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Changes to the scope of BS7671.
  • Inspection and testing procedures.
  • Further requirements for circuit protection in domestic dwellings.
  • Changes to the disconnection times for certain circuits.
  • Supporting of wiring systems.
