Expert teachers will help you explore modern examples from leading production houses such as Blue Zoo, Studio Ghibli and Pixar.

You will also examine and evaluate historical works by Max Fleischer, Industrial Light & Magic and Walt Disney.

Why choose
Animation A Level?

At Brock you will learn from animation enthusiasts who have professional and academic backgrounds in the creative industries and are committed to helping you discover your full potential.

Importantly, you will have access to state-of-the-art learning and production equipment, enabling you to develop both your theoretical and practical skills.

Our Photomedia department uses Apple Mac computers, graphics tablets and professional-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony and Blender to give you a learning experience that corresponds directly with modern creative industry practices.

Teaching & learning

You will explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to animation.

The first year will introduce you to techniques and software as well as help you develop a personal style through experimentation.
