French Advanced
Dates & LocationsCourse introduction
You will develop, improve and apply your French reading and speaking skills. Classes will focus on a variety of topics, enabling you to enrich your vocabulary, improve your grammar and become more fluent. The sessions involve pair work, group work, whole class work, games, speaking, and reading in a relaxed and confidence-building atmosphere. There will be no formal testing, but homework will be given each week.
Course information
You will need a reasonable knowledge of the French language – post GCSE/O Level or equivalent. For example, you will need a working knowledge of pronouns and the imperfect, past conditional, future, and encountered subjunctive and past historic tenses. Please bring a notebook and pen. You will work from photocopies.
