Teaching & learning


Through practical learning, work experience and personalised support, you will develop confidence, independence and workplace skills while preparing for your future.

Minimum entry requirements


PACE has specific entry requirements and is designed for students who are ready to work towards further study, apprenticeships or employment.

Entry is based on an assessment of your English and maths skills, together with an interview, to ensure the programme is appropriate for your individual needs and progression goals.

If you have not achieved GCSE grade 4, you will be assessed on your English and maths skills at the start of the course.

What can I do with this qualification?


Many PACE students progress onto Level 2 programmes at Brock, while others move onto apprenticeships, internships or employment.

Importantly, you will receive personalised support to help you achieve your progression goals.

Course student profiles


Edward Fusco completed his work placement at a chandlery in Lymington and was subsequently offered a Business Administration intermediate apprenticeship with the company. He has since spoken of his experiences in front of an audience at a national conference.
