Writing Creatively – intermediate/advanced
Course introduction
Learn how to write short stories, flash fiction and novels with an experienced writer.
The course will focus on aspects of creative writing from the shape and structure of stories, characterisation and dialogue, to impactful language and self-editing.
The course will also explore how to submit work for publication and examine the expectations of literary publications and agents.
During the course we will look at different writing styles and creative techniques, you will engage with reading and writing during each class.

This course is suitable for writers with little experience who want to explore writing creatively and for experienced writers who have either had work published, have had success in writing competitions or have attended the basic creative writing course.
