Writing – intensive workshop for beginners
Course introduction
This course is a one-day, intensive course for beginners. You will learn how to write entertaining stories for fun and/or profit. This course will focus on the elements that make up great stories, such as believable characters and engaging narratives. Plus, you will learn how to use subplots and subtext to take your writing to the next level. You will look at writing short stories, novels, scriptwriting and various other forms of media. You will also be encouraged to develop a new or existing piece of work in a fun and relaxed setting.
Information & support
Please bring along a pen and some paper and/or a fully charged laptop. There will be a maximum of ten students on the course.
