Our Equality & Diversity Committee is made up of three task groups who meet regularly to review policies, carry out impact assessment and organise student led promotions and events.
Our Equality Scheme
All members of the College community are asked to actively support our Equality Scheme by adhering to the following guidelines.

Disability Confident Employer
Disability Confident is a government scheme designed to encourage employers to recruit and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.
Disability Confident has taken over from the Two Ticks Positive about Disabled People scheme, of which we originally gained.
Disability Confident broadens and deepens our existing commitment as an employer.
The Inspiration Room
We have a specially-designed ‘Inspiration Room’, which is staffed by members of the learning assistant team.
This pleasant facility is available for students on the autistic spectrum and for other vulnerable students who might benefit from a quiet space to work and study.
