If you have purchased a uniform, please wear this.  Please also bring with you a pen and paper.

You will have a timetabled hour for lunch.

Brockenhurst campus

The HardBrock café will be open to serve a variety of hot and cold food.  You can pay with either cash or card, however, contactless payments are preferred.

If the HardBrock is busy, or you would like to explore the surrounding area, you can walk into Brockenhurst village where there is a mix of cafes and shops serving food. We ask that you do not go into the village with more than four people in your group.

Marchwood and Ultima

If you are based at Marchwood or Ultima there are options to purchase food. Or please bring a packed lunch with you.

Free periods – Brockenhurst campus only

When you receive your timetable, you may have a free period.  During these sessions you can:

  • Explore the campus. There are plenty of open spaces at the College both inside and out.
  • Visit the LRC where you will find a range of books, journals and magazines to read.

What time does the day end?

Travelling to Brock

If you’re travelling by train and have not yet collected your train pass, please make sure you have a valid ticket for the day as train inspectors often check tickets around this time.

If you’re travelling by bus and don’t already have your bus pass, you can use your college ID card as proof that you are a Brock student, but you’ll need to ensure you collect your bus pass at induction.
