Brock alumna Chelsie Jones has landed a regular radio show on Southampton’s Voice FM covering issues around diversity and disability.

The weekly broadcast is called Same Difference and goes out every Friday at 2pm.

Presented by wheelchair user Chelsie, who has cerebral palsy, the programme aims to inform public perceptions of people living with disabilities.

She said: “The aim of my show is to promote diversity. We have a chat-style format featuring people from all different walks of life and their stories.

“Living with a disability has inspired me to start conversation with the community, not only to shed a positive light on diversity but to give a voice to individuals who wouldn’t usually be heard.”

While at Brock, Chelsie completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Media achieving a triple distinction star.
