Brock Super Sunday Family Fun Day for 8th New Forest Scout Group & disabled learning equipment – June 3rd
18 May 2018
Brock’s Super Sunday Family Fun Day on June 3rd will be packed full of outdoor attractions, with charitable proceeds split equally between 8th New Forest Scout Group and the procurement of new equipment for disabled learners.
From 11am-3pm the College will host entertainment, rides, sports and craft activities, as well as a Local Producers’ Market, which means there will be something for everyone.
Kids can enjoy face-painting, a bouncy castle and a dress-up photo booth, while adults can sample locally-produced food and drink, from coffees and crepes to crabcakes.
Other local artisans, such as those producing art, crafts and jewellery, will have stalls at the event too.
More organisations attending include Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, Bournemouth University and Planet Education.
There will also be a charity raffle with prizes donated by Balmer Lawn Hotel, Ringwood Brewery and other local businesses.
Entry is £2 per person aged 12+ and £1 per child aged 3-12, with under 3s admitted for free.
Allan Mycroft from 8th New Forest Scout Group said: “We are so happy to be chosen as beneficiaries of this fundraising event.
“The proceeds will be gratefully received and help us give our young people an even better scouting experience.”
Assistant Principal Dom Chapman said: “This event is going to be one of the highlights of our summer term, and we’re very happy that 8th New Forest Scout Group and our students will benefit.”
