Business students staged family fun event

IMG_1262Vocational business students from Brockenhurst College ran a family fun day at New Milton Arts Centre recently in partnership with the Wessex Heritage Trust.

The ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed event attracted 21 people who participated in activities such as face-painting, sponge throwing, lucky dip and ‘mad hat’ making.

The aim of the fun day was to give students hands-on experience of organising and running a profitable event.

Local businesses Radcliffe, Power Mortgages, AGASHE and Bin and Gone provided sponsorship to help cover costs.

Student Jake Perrin said afterwards: “This has been a really enjoyable and worthwhile learning experience. It has also been fantastic to have so much support from the sponsors and venue operators.”IMG_1252
