Items donated by Brock staff
Staff at Brockenhurst College clubbed together this new year to deliver a bumper donation to New Forest Basics Bank in Lymington.
Food, hygiene and even a few luxury products were donated to help the organisation, which has a branch at Lymington Church on St Thomas Street.
Helen Steel from Student Services, who organised the appeal through college communications channels, said she was delighted with people’s generosity.
She added: “The staff here at Brock smashed my expectations and donated a large amount of food and gifts for those less fortunate.”
Following the success, Helen now hopes to launch a follow-up appeal during the summer months.
