Students enjoy Brock Fest ahead of exams
Posted on: 14th May 2018
Students at Brockenhurst College enjoyed a day of live music, snacks and entertainment last Tuesday ahead of exam season.
The aptly named Brock Fest was organised by the Students’ Union and took place on the front lawn throughout the day.
Level 3 Music students provided entertainment in the form of individual performances, bands and DJs.
Those present also watched performances from Cheerleading and Dance Enrichment students.
Local businesses including The Candy Floss King, Ministry of Fudge and Brock Ice were on site as well, offering students a range of sweet treats.
The event proved very popular, and students flocked to the lawn to relax with friends and soak up the sunshine.
During the event, one local resident even phoned the College to say how much he was enjoying the music.
President of the Student Union, Anna Nguyen, said: “The Student Union was very pleased that we invested our available resources to organise a fun day to celebrate our students’ hard work and achievements.”
“We hope that students had a good opportunity to relax and chill before exams start later this month,” she added.
