Quality in Careers Award

Quality in Careers

At Brock we are committed to providing comprehensive careers education that will enable you to develop important employability and workplace skills.

As such, we are proud to have achieved the national Quality in Careers Standard for our information, advice and guidance.

This award is fully aligned with the eight Gatsby Benchmarks, which provide a framework that schools and colleges can use to develop a good careers programme.

Next Steps events

Whether you plan to study at university or want to start your career immediately, we provide support, guidance and advice to plan for your future through our Next Steps events.

We hold several Higher Education events throughout the year, which we will encourage you to attend. You can choose to meet with individual representatives from around 70 universities to discuss your course options in detail.

Importantly, we can discuss these options with you individually and help you with the UCAS application process.

Past Next Steps events have included a gap-year and volunteering fair attended by major global companies offering work experience.

Work Experience

Whether you are studying a Vocational or A Level course, we understand the importance of work experience in securing the job or university place you want.

Over many years we have developed mutually beneficial relationships with companies across a wide range of areas to deliver work experience opportunities of critical worth.
