Since starting Brock, I've been following the Medical Matters Enrichment option, which is something for people who want to become doctors or nurses. It’s quite nice meeting with similar people to talk to about how to achieve your ambitions. The teacher who runs Medical Matters knows me well, so she wrote my university reference and advised on my personal statement.

I’ve made a lot of new friends at Brockenhurst. I knew a lot of Noadswood students came here, so I thought when I got here maybe all the Noadswood people would stay together. But actually, I’ve made many new friends, and some of them will definitely be friends for life. Also, the teachers at Brock are really helpful. My Personal Tutor, Rachael Fowkes, has been so amazing.

The teachers at Brock have all been really good. I’ve got on well with all my teachers and I feel very comfortable talking to them and asking them questions. Quite often I’ll go to ask them questions when the lesson has finished. Also, the LRC is great because it’s open after college and it’s quite big and there’s still a lot of people in there, you can hang out with your friends but still get on with work.
