Traineeships

A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that unlocks your potential and prepares you for your future careers by helping you to become ‘work ready’.

Designed to help young people aged 16 to 24 who don’t yet have the appropriate skills or experience, Traineeships provide the essential work preparation training, English, maths and work experience needed to secure an Apprenticeship or employment.

Opportunity

The scheme provides the opportunity to take part in a work placement to give you meaningful work experience, develop workplace skills, and develop links with an employer, as well as a period of work preparation training, focusing on areas like CV writing, interview preparation, job search and inter-personal skills.
