COLLEGE CLOSURE: The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning of snow for our area from lunchtime Thursday 1 and throughout Friday 2 March. If the forecast proves correct, we are concerned that we will be unable to get our students home safely tomorrow afternoon, given our very rural location. We have therefore made the decision to close the College to students tomorrow and also on Friday, as the forecast for then is particularly severe. This has not been an easy decision, given that the sun is shining brightly at the moment, but the safety of our students and staff is our priority. This early decision will also allow teachers to make sure their students are well prepared with work to do over the two days. We anticipate the College will be open as normal on Monday. If there are any changes to that there will be regular updates on the College website and social media platforms and announcements on the local radio. Thank you for your understanding.
