Basketball Academy

The Sports Academy is a talent development programme designed to help you be the best athlete you can be.

It is central to the success and reputation of Brockenhurst College being the number one choice for sports in the area.

We strive on developing players on the court and instilling values off the court.  We believe hard work and commitment are the basis to success.

Why join us?

The Basketball programme offers a chance to do what you love alongside your studies.

We believe that education will always come first and that playing basketball is a reward, and with training built within each students timetable there is no reason to not work hard and play hard.

We run 3 training sessions a week and up to two games.

Players will be within a competitive environment from the start.

Playing in the Hampshire College’s league, British Colleges cup, and regional tournaments there is a lot to compete for.

Players are encouraged to take ownership of their sessions and motivate one another to form a high level of cohesion.

Player profiles are created at the beginning of the year to give coaching staff a better understanding of what you hope to achieve during your time at Brock.
