Brockenhurst College stands out as an excellent institution, not only because of its achievements throughout more than 100 years of history, but also its positive student environment. It aims to shape students' personal and social development and equip us for life beyond study, as well as encourage our intellectual growth.

Students are assigned a Personal Tutor who keeps regular track or their progress and offers support at any time. We are also informed of wonderful opportunities to take part in outreach events and programmes such as Cambridge University's HE+, Oxford Pathways and Reading Scholars.

In addition, Brock students are encouraged to take up an Extended Project Qualification, which enables them to sharpen their research skills, and think critically, analytically and creatively. I am also fortunate to participate in Enrichment options, comprising: the Debating Society, Community Volunteering, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Gym, and the Students' Union of which I am President. Furthermore, working as a Student Ambassador is another unique experience at Brock that I have enjoyed a lot.

My Personal Tutor informed me about the compulsory admissions test for the University of Oxford as my AS year finished so that I could start my preparation over the summer. As soon as the new academic year started I began preparing for my UCAS application. I was advised to register for my admissions test immediately with the Oxford exams office. I have just completed that test and am looking forward to the future.
