What made you want to study at Brockenhurst College?
Truthfully, it was because it was so close to my home, but also because of how pretty the surroundings are… Who doesn’t want to see a pony during their lunch break?
What did you enjoy most about your course(s)?

What were your ‘highlights’ (best experiences) while attending Brockenhurst College?
Meeting new friends and how supportive every teacher has been throughout my time here.
What extra opportunities have you taken up since studying at the College? In what ways did they help your personal development? (i.e. Aspire programme, enrichments, student ambassador scheme, work experience)
The HE+ Cambridge programme and supra-curricular reading such as reading Shakespeare’s sonnets and other texts such as Goethe and Virginia Woolf’s works.
What networking, employment and work experience opportunities did you undertake and how did they enhance your college experience?
I worked at an ice cream shop for a year.
What is your next step in education or your career? For example, a full/part-time university course, full/part-time employment, apprenticeship etc. Please provide FULL details.
I am aiming to study English at the University of Cambridge.
What are your long-term career goals? Did your time at Brock help you decide what you might like to do?
I want to be either a university lecturer in English or a writer of some kind – perhaps a novelist.
