I chose to study at Brock because I wanted to be in a college environment as opposed to a school environment. Also, the College’s reputation for results is excellent.

During my two years here I have attended exploratory conferences at the University of Southampton, which helped me understand how some universities are focussed on interdisciplinary research. I also completed the University of Cambridge HE+ scheme, through which I explored a topic of personal interest.

I undertook work experience as part of my first-year studies, which enabled me to see the ultimate purpose for my qualifications as well as what the working world is like. Plus, a range of employers visited the College during my studies and presented various post-college options such as apprenticeships or university.

While working towards my Extended Project Qualification I developed my interest in Psychology, which grew as I conducted research of my choice.

My aim is to study Psychology at undergraduate level before studying for a doctorate to become a clinical psychologist.
