Where are you now?

Oxford Brookes University studying Criminology.

Are there any members of staff in particular you feel have especially helped you on your journey?

“My teacher Declan was very understanding and always there to help me if I needed him. He gave me lots of helpful advice for my future education.”

What have been your ‘highlights’ or best experiences while attending Brock?

“I really enjoyed attending BrockFest during the summer. It was such a great community atmosphere, and it felt brilliant to be a part of it.2

What made you choose to study at Brock?

“I wanted independence and to be self-reliant, but it was also important to have support. I found I could have both at Brock.”

What extra opportunities have you taken while studying at Brock?

“I really enjoyed doing the Netball Enrichment option, which was really enjoyable and fulfilling.”

What did you enjoy or find particularly inspiring about your subjects?

“Geography opened up so many new opportunities for me, and the trips were great. In Photography they allow you to be creative, support your ideas and allow you to take them further. In Sociology I met some of the best teachers I’ve ever had, enjoyed a fantastic learning experience and met some of my best friends.”

What are your long-term career goals?

“I would like to become a teacher.”
