One thing I particularly enjoyed at Brock was my Enrichment in Robotics where I worked with others to build a robot and enter it in a competition run by the University of Southampton.

A level Electronics (A*), Computer Science (A), Mathematics (A), Physics (A)
Degree level apprenticeship with Dyson
More from Philip...
I’ve always been interested in electronics, and I visited Brock during an open day and spoke to an Electronics lecturer. He told me about Arduino, which is a prototyping platform, so I went out and bought a kit and got really into it.
I have a four-year degree-apprenticeship lined up with Dyson and the University of Warwick. Dyson makes leading household appliances such as vacuum cleaners, lights, hairdryers and air multipliers. They’re working on some new top-secret stuff as well, so I’m excited.
