About

Here at Brockenhurst College we support learners to achieve success on the widest range of A Level, Vocational and apprenticeship programmes available locally.

We also deliver Skills and Training courses for adults, Adult Leisure & Learning courses and two Higher Education programmes. We have over 3,000 16‐19-year-old students and around 5,000 adult learners. Learning outcomes are consistently positive, with meaningful progression for leavers.

Meanwhile, our partnerships with employers enable apprenticeships and work experience opportunities. Plus, we assist in providing a skills training programme for unemployed individuals, working closely with employers. In addition, we attract a large number of international students.

Welcome from the Principal

Here at Brock, we are committed to being the catalyst behind your progress during the next stage of your education, providing the ideal environment for both personal and academic development. Indeed, all our staff are invested wholeheartedly in supporting you to excel in your studies and grow as an individual. This means you will develop further knowledge, skills and personal attributes, equipping to take your next steps after college.

The defining culture at Brock is one of academic excellence. In addition, there is a strong culture of inclusion, respect and personal responsibility. We are confident that these strengths, along with our continued support, will enable you to realise your potential and develop into an independent, lifelong learner.

With this in mind, we know that every young person is different. This is why we work with you during the application and enrolment period to create a bespoke Study Programme that meets your interests, abilities and future aspirations.

Evidence of Community Values

Our community values reflect our commitment to contributing to the welfare and success of people in our region. We continuously review our strategic priorities and key initiatives to ensure we answer the needs of both our learners and our wider community. One of our aims is to provide information that demonstrates how we do this.
