I had always wanted to study at Brockenhurst College because of its good reputation, its setting in the forest and the wide range of courses it offers. I also felt it would provide me with a sense of independence, both as a student and a person.

I really enjoyed my time at Brock and looking back I think it has really benefited me going into a career in football. Whilst studying my BTEC I signed my first professional contract. During my second year I gained a move to a Championship club.Being part of the Football Academy has opened many doors.

What’s more, trips to Oxford and Cambridge universities and visits from university lectures and medical professionals have really helped me to make up my mind about studying Medicine.
