Warsash Maritime School

Here at Brock we have an agreement with Warsash Maritime School, part of Solent University, Southampton, to formally align our Merchant Navy Pre-Cadetship courses with degree course admission requirements at the well-respected institution.

Here at Brock we are active members of the South Coast Institute of Technology (IoT), alongside other colleges in our region. This initiative is designed to enable colleges and universities to deliver courses that support the government’s aim of reforming vocational and technical education and training.

The Pre-cadetship course was exactly what I had been looking to find. It has provided me with opportunities to learn by using and developing my practical workshop skills, as well as undertaking academic studies. The course provides you with an opportunity to visit boat shows, cruise ships, Warsash Maritime Academy and other places too. As a result of the Pre-cadetship, I have successfully secured an engine cadetship with Carnival UK.
