Employer Partnerships

We’re committed to working with employers to develop the skills, talent, and innovation our region needs.

By partnering with us, you’ll help shape a workforce that is ready for the challenges of the future, equipped with practical expertise, industry insight, and the adaptability to thrive in a changing world. Whether it’s through curriculum design, apprenticeships, or collaborative projects, our goal is to connect education with business, ensuring students leave us with the skills employers value most.

Together, we can strengthen the local and regional economy and create opportunities that benefit both students and businesses alike.

How can we work with you?

We currently deliver a range of courses at various levels that are accredited by professional bodies. For example, we work with Mindful Education to provide AAT Accounting and Bookkeeping programmes. There is also a range of free and chargeable distance learning courses available in areas such as counselling and health & safety.

If you are an employer with specific requirements and organisational commitments, we can assist in helping create a bespoke training package to suit you and your business. You can add value to your business and fill critical skills gaps by upskilling your workers through an apprenticeship or short, industry-recognised programmes in a range of competencies. At Brock we offer a range of training opportunities designed to help people either launch or further their careers. This means gaining new qualifications and learning new industry skills.

All courses are run by expert tutors who give learners the benefit of industry‐standard tools and equipment. Options range from one‐day training courses to part‐time and full‐time courses in specific industry sectors. Some programmes are also available as Distance Learning, enabling learners to fit study around work and other commitments.

Advisor Boards

Advisor Boards bring together employers, industry partners, civic organisations and higher education providers to help shape curriculum development at Brockenhurst College.

Each session includes a brief overview of our curriculum offer, a guest speaker and time for discussion and networking. Advisor Boards support collaboration with industry and help ensure our students are developing the skills needed for future employment.
