Brockenhurst College will close from 1.00pm today, Tuesday 27 January 2026, due to localised flooding and ongoing public transport disruption.
The decision has been taken to ensure the safety of students and staff and to allow everyone to travel home in daylight as conditions continue to change.
All lessons and activities at the main College campus and Ultima will finish at 1.00pm. Teaching staff will set learning activities on Canvas for affected lessons this afternoon.
Marchwood and Quickstart will remain open and sessions will continue as planned.
Adult classes scheduled for this evening are cancelled, and students will be contacted directly.
We currently expect the College to be open as normal tomorrow and will provide updates if the situation changes.
