Artography is generally considered to be a hybrid medium that blends photography with digital art, rather than the traditional genre of photography, such as landscape or portraiture. It is perhaps best described as a marriage between photography and digital art, where photographs act as the base for further artistic manipulation. You will look at image capture and a selection of work by various artographers – delving into the wide selection of photography equipment and techniques for image capture. This will be followed by a practical session on image capture.
Course information
Please bring a notebook and pen, your digital camera, memory card(s) and your fully charged batteries and charger, along with your camera instruction manual, plus any other camera equipment you may have that could be useful such as a tripod, reflectors, flash gun, filters etc. You will learn through practical demonstrations and hands-on experience. Please bring a packed lunch.
