Digital Skills Basics

This course will help you feel more confident using everyday technology. You will be guided through using smartphones, tablets, and laptops, learning how to browse the internet safely and communicate online using email.

The course will also explore online shopping, including ordering food online, with a balanced look at the advantages and disadvantages. There will be plenty of opportunities to practise and enjoy using technology in a supportive environment.

Course information

Please bring your own laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. Bringing paper and a pen may also be helpful. You will also have the chance to ask questions about specific IT issues that may not be covered in the sessions.
